Welcome! This site is intended to guide folks who have copyright-related questions to the most appropriate resource at the university. We also attempt to answer basic and frequently asked copyright-related questions.

We also offer a short FAQ in addition to links to various other resources who are able to maintain much more comprehensive and up-to-date information. Much of the information found here was written or compiled by Professor Kenneth D. Crews, Ph.D., former director of the Copyright Management Center at IUPUI and current director of the Copyright Advisory Office at Columbia University.

While resources are not available for the UIPO to maintain a comprehensive list here, links and information will gladly be added upon request.
